The repair work schedule to hold on the third mainland bridge had been suspended.
The Lagos State Commissioner for Transport has announced the temporary suspension of the closure of Third Mainland Bridge (the longest bridge in West Africa), which was scheduled for today, Sunday, July 1, 2012.
He said the Federal Ministry of Works is not ready to commence the repair works on the due to maintain Third Mainland Bridge and will let Lagosians know when all issues have been resolved.
