Thousands of Nigerians have been glued to their phones and computers trying to figure out why arguably Nigeria’s fastest Hip-hop sensation, David Adeleke, got slapped after rumours had it that he had a scuffle with mobile policemen and was subsequently slapped by the uniformed men ‘for being rude.’
The young hit-maker: Davido has quickly refuted the rumours. He took to his Twitter handle and described the twitter trend as “untrue and baseless.”
“I am safe and at home … Stop the lies.” Davido tweeted.
Davido who is currently signed on to HKN records will be launching his debut album “O.B.O Genesis” at the Eko Hotel and Suites on Sunday, July 22.
